Be welcome, our restaurant is open seven days a week, from noon to midnight. From noon to 5 pm we have smaller dishes, especially made for lunch. But all throughout the day you are able to enjoy the well-known dishes from our regular menu. And naturally we adhere to all corona guidelines: coming to dine with us is not only relaxed and pleasant, but also safe.

Prefer take away?
Take away from Lucius is also temporarily possible. You can order our plateaus (fruits de mer, lobster, oysters) and / or a BBQ package. If you order a day in advance we can take your order into account.
If you place an order for more than € 50.00 we will deliver your meal to you, in a number of zip code areas. Ordering is possible by telephone, e-mail or via the order button. If you have any questions about specific orders or delivery times, reach out to us and we can discuss it together.
Will you be joining us by car? There’s usually a spot available in close vicinity of our restaurant. We would advise you to keep the high parking fees in mind. Available alternatives are the parking garages Q-Park Bijenkorf and Q-Park Nieuwendijk (on the Nieuwezijds Kolk). Lucius is easily accessible by public transport. If you get off at the Dam, Lucius will be a 5 minute walk away.
What our diners have said about us:
The fish was outstanding and prepared perfectly. I had a whole sea bass expertly deboned and my friend had the mixed grill. Each of the five different fish in it were each cooked just so. The service is very good without being intrusive. Not a big tourist place which is a good thing.
What a find! The food was amazing! The starter of crab cocktail was simple but very tasty. Across the table the scallops in Parmesan cream were outstanding, the sauce was rich and full of flavour but didn’t overpower the delicate taste of the scallops. We both had the tiger prawns in garlic butter for mains and again they were perfectly cooked. Desserts were candid ginger with cream and ice cream with chocolate sauce and almonds.
The best and freshest oysters I have tasted in a long time. The shrimp, scallops and salmon were also excellent. Stayed in Amsterdam three nights and ate at Lucius two of the nights.
