Quality and loyalty are important to us. Not only do employees stay with us for a long time or return to the nest after several years, but we are also loyal to our suppliers. Our wine has been purchased from wine merchant De Logie (1848), the oldest wine merchant in the city, for many years. And Lucius was among the first customers of the Dutch vineyard the Apostelhoeve.
Logical
With various organic wines, Lucius is also finding its way in responsible enjoyment. Tai Rosso, Muscadet, Saint Véran, Pouilly-Fuissé, Primitivo Puro to name just a few. The South African Chenin Blanc is a vegan wine. Nothing from the Netherlands in this area. On Dutch soil, it is not feasible to clarify using only plant-based proteins or to work completely without pesticides.
The world and wines are changing. For example, new types of wine grapes were approved for Bordeaux several years ago. The goal: to address climate change and preserve wine production regions. This was unprecedented for the French wine world and at the same time a clear signal that climate change and global warming have a significant impact.
